Volume over Lumen 2006
Volume over Lumen is a musically differentiated network on the subject of rhythm and communication. Everyone in the event wears a collar made of silicon that broadcasts a rhythmically arranged sound. This sound is individually generated for each participant, and beamed into the area via pulsing light diodes. If one stands in someone else's light beam, one hears their sound. When several persons are moving around together, changing overlappings of the different musical themes arise.
