The audiovisual installation psss… deals with the ways human respond to sound; with the perception of the sound vibrations as a physical event that can be directly sensed and has unmediated influence on body and mind. Direct and intense sound forms, primarily in the lower frequency range (up to 150 Hz), combined with a strong visual impression, engender a variety of reactions in the observer.
Robert E.M. Achleitner, born 1979 in Ravensburg, lives in Saarbrücken. Sound design, sound art. Since 2001, has studied audiovisual art at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste in Saarbrücken.
